The Programme
Structure
The programme
begins in mid-September each year and can be taken full-time over 12 months,
or part-time over 30 months. Teaching involves a mixture of lectures,
seminars, case studies and presentations, and students are assessed by both
coursework and examination.
Part-time students take 4
courses per semester, with first year students normally attending classes on
Wednesdays from 1400-1800 hours, and second years normally attending on
Mondays at the same times.
Successful completion of the
taught element of the programme leads to the award of the Diploma or allows
the student to continue for the award of the MSc in HRM by completing a
dissertation on a topic agreed with the programme Director. Full-time
students must submit a dissertation by the end of August following
completion of the taught programme, part-time students, by the end of
November.
